I grew up in Lodgepole, a small farming community in the western part of South Dakota. We operated a dairy farm in Lodgepole for ten years. I married my wife Wanda in 1979, and we have eight children ranging in ages 6-21.
In 1997 we moved the cows and everything to a farm near Bryant, South Dakota and farmed there for about seven years. Then five years ago I started driving part time for J&R and found I enjoyed the driving and the people. We decided to sell the cows, and I started driving full time.
