I was born and raised in Parkston, South Dakota and graduated from Parkston High School. I have been selling feed in the Parkston area for 30 plus years which has allowed me to meet and work with a lot of nice people, including the staff at J&R Feeds.
My family starts off with my wife Jan of forty years who is a Regional Manager for Casey's General Stores. In our years together we had three sons. Lance and his wife Lynette live in Parkston and have two children, Jamie and Lane. Thad and his wife DeeAnn live in Tea and have three children, Kennedy, Rylan and Brenner. Joshua and his wife Kim live in Watertown and have a daughter, Allison.
My hobbies include trying to perfect my cooking skills on my cooker made from an old milk cooler and attending our grandchildren's activities. I also enjoy raising cattle, hogs, horses, and sometimes my Grandson’s sheep.
