I grew up in the Lake Norden area and graduated from Lake Norden High School in 1971. I graduated with a BS from Dakota State University in 1975. I taught business courses in Colman for 3 years. I worked at Zimmels Furniture in Watertown for 30 years along with farming.

 

I worked at the Lake Norden Elevator mill and started working at the mill for J & R Feeds in 2006.

 

I am married to my wife Patricia, who I met while teaching in Colman and we have 4 grown children. In my spare time I like to play basketball in the "senior games."
